Combining processed satellite images showing vegetation from three seasons in a red, green, blue composite image reveals the different patterns of planting and harvesting; not only the different crops and their distinct growing seasons visible, but agricultural, economic, and political systems are revealed through variations interpreted in the hue, saturation, value color system.
